Falakata Police Station Was the Attraction For this Year’s Rath Yatra

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata 25th June, 2017: The Falakata Rath Yatra was today celebrated with much fanfare here today. Many bhakts were seen to come and pull the holy Rath of Lord Jagannath. It is said that he/who pulls the Holy Rath can stop his/hers cyclical birth and stay in the Swarg forever. However, this Rathyatra was special for the Falakatans this year. On this day the New Look Falakata Police station glittered with lights during the night.
A park and resting zone was newly constructed left many young and old come and stay in the place for long hours and were seen busy for selfies. The visitors didn’t fell fear to come to the premises of Falakata Police Station. Interacting with TNI the IC of Falakata Police Station Mr. Binod Gazmere said “We police try to be friends of the masses. In this process, the crime can be controlled easily. This time we expect much crowd during pujas so we have planned to have some light music, water counter and helpdesk for them”.
